A good story or book should satisfy a reader by giving then information, sends them on an adventure or fulfills some other requirement of the reader. It should always the intention of the writer to try to present the best of their work and satisfies the reader.

Story writing is an art and one can gain expertise by following some tactics. There are several secrets to good content writing. By using these hints it will help you better communicate with your readers.

1. Simplicity: Always try to make your story easy to understand for all readers. If you are writing a technical book, then this may now apply, however for most books this will. This will all you to develop the interest of the reader and invite them to read whole book.

2. Commonalty: Like simplicity, you should choose words which are used in daily common conversation. This prohibits the reader from having to grab a dictionary while reading any content.  By using simple and suitable words it will make it more enjoyable for the readers.

3. Correct Facts: If you are basing your story on an actual event, make sure you take the time to research all facts. The facts and figures should come from a genuine source and should be noted in the book.  Having the wrong facts or figures will immediately discredit you as a writer and you could lose faith for all future work.

4. Be Specific:  Always remember what the purpose is of the story. Try to remember what your goal of conversation with the reader is. Make sure at the end of the story, the reader knows and understands what your message and purpose was for the story. This will help with relating to the reader.

5.Try to Think like Reader: Thinking a reader, is a great way to hook your readers into your story. Remember that it is for them that you are writing and communicating with. Make sure that they know they are not forgotten in the story and their presence matters.

6. Avoid Duplicate Stories or Plots: Try to write something original and outside the box. Readers love surprises so try to give them one. No one wants to hear a re-do on a book that already exists.

7. Avoid grammatical errors: We all have editors we depend on for the crucial step of checking our work for spelling and grammar mistakes. The fact is, even the best editors and best author’s books have these mistakes. Try not to panic when they do happen, but also make a conscience effort to avoid them as well. They usually will server only as a distraction to the reader.

8. Avoid Long Sentences: Simple and short sentences are really preferred by readers. This make it easy to understand and helps in increasing the interest of the readers.
